Okay, so I’m thinking of taking a gap year before going to college to do my A-levels. In this gap year i intend to work, write and learn all the stuff i “need” to know so then no one can bug me when i am in college. Oh, and i intend on jioning the gym.
Then after the gap year i’m going to college and my dad wants me to go to an Islamic one, which is fair enough but right now it doesn’t have the subjects that i want to do so i’m a giving it a year to expand, as well as goiving me a year to write, learn and work. Just so you know my dad is hating the fact of me working (machoistic pride? I really don’t know or care).
So what do you think? Gap year or no gap year?
I think a gap yr just delays getting on with your education. The sooner you start college, the quicker you finish and you’ll be with your peers. With a gap yr,you’ll be older and might not be in the flow of education since you’ve had a break.
But upto you.
i agree with Hfm,taking a gap year does delay things. And it affects ur passion for learning, after school ur still in that learning mode, and u can work under pressure, coursewrks and homewrk and all, but after a gap year, ull be getting used to not doing that, and then getting back to that mode will be kinda difficult.
For me, i wanna take a gap year after college, but it scares the html’s out of me, cos i know i wnt be doing jack all, and then after 12 months am gonna ask myself, smiley watcha do in the past year, and i wnt have an answer aprt from chill out!
but past all, its upto you, if u think u can handle it, then yeh thats cool!
break a leg Outcast! =]]
NO GAP.
life is living it all the days, all the years.
no excuse for a break.
you can do ten things at once.. do that.
it will pay off well in the long run!
rest obviously is ur choice.
but this is what i’ll advise you!
Thanks, SK for the advice life is going to continue and i should live all of it. Still unsure, but i’ll take this into consideration. Welcome to my blog.

No gap year. I agree with Miss Maths.
